Knowing different types of heels for men will help you expand your wardrobe.Â
Learning the terminology and backstory of my favorite pair of heels has increased my confidence when wearing them in public.
There’s something empowering about knowing different types of heels and the best way to practice walking in them.
In this post, I’m going to list fifty types of heels that you’ll want to know all about!
50 Types Of Heels For Men
Table of Contents
1. Closed Toe Sandal heels
These types of heels aren’t your typical stilettoes!
Characterized with laces and a closed-toe design, these heels let your feet breathe while giving a bit more fabric.Â
2. Stiletto Boot High Heels
There’s nothing more alluring than the sight of someone who knows how to rock a nice pair of knee-high stiletto boots!
These types of high heel shoes aren’t just sexy, they’re warming and can even provide more support than the average stiletto pump!
Before you consider purchasing stiletto boots, be sure to get a height that you can comfortably walk in.
Because your legs are enclosed within the boot’s material, you should prioritize comfort over short-term wear(you’ll thank me later).Â
3. Platform Sandal Types Of Heels
Platform heels are among the sexiest types of heels that you can wear!
Not only will platforms give you an extra height boost, but purchase them in sandal form and you’re sure to turn heads.
4. Gladiator Sandal Heels
Gladiator heels are one of my favorites because they make you feel empowered!Â
These types of heels are true to their name because they are designed with strappy material that wraps around your feet and legs.Â
Some gladiator heels are closed-toe while others are completely open.
I prefer open-toed strappy gladiator heels because my feet tend to sweat and I just think they look better.Â

5. Ballet Heels For Men
If you’re looking for comfort, these are not the heels for you!
Ballet heels are a popular fetish shoe that will literally have you standing on the tips of your toes.
They have a thin stiletto heel and are meant for keeping you bound.
I do own a pair of these heels because I like to experiment, but they are very challenging to walk in.
Watch me walk In THem!
I recommend wearing ballet heels if you’re just looking to take pictures in a sitting or laying down position. I can walk in them, just not very far.Â
Heel-less heels are one of the most shocking types of heels because they can be hard to wrap your mind around!
These unique shoes lack the very thing that makes high heels what they are…heels.Â
The most important thing to know about heel-less heels is that you can walk in them, it just takes practice and a ton of balance!
When walking in heel-less heels, you need to make sure that you’re balancing your center of gravity in the shoe’s front and not the back.
